2008 CORPUS CHRISTI CORVETTE CLUB

August 8, 2008    Meeting Minutes

Tony Cruz, President, called the formal meeting of the Corpus Christi Corvette Club to order at 7:05 PM on August 8, 2008 at Stingray Alley.

Meeting minutes of last month's meeting were read by the club Secretary, Melissa Holmes, and approved by the members.

Treasurer Dena McCravy reported that there is $2,457.94 in the club account.

Thank you to all the members that attended the Time Warner Cable / Texas State Aquarium's "Shark Week" show and shine.

"Corvette Night at the Hooks Baseball Game" will be on August 23rd. We will meet at Champion Chevrolet at 5:15PM and depart at 5:45PM. Tickets are $10.00 each, we have been given fifty(50) tickets and can get more tickets if needed.

We have been invited to escort the Wounded Warriors on their bike ride again next year (March 2009).

The club voted and passed a motion to move the club checking account from Wells Fargo to Navy Army Federal Credit Union. The club is paying a monthly service charge with Wells Fargo that we will not have to pay with Navy Army Federal Credit Union.

Noe Guerra announced that, after 16 years of service, he would not be able to continue to be the club's Newsletter Editor due to pending medical reasons. Noe, along with his family, will be in our prayers. Esther Cruz and James Rabel have volunteered to be the club's Newsletter Editors.
